Successful Blogging Tips – 4 Quick Steps to Your Blogging Success
Blog is short for weblog and it was originated as an online diary for internet users to share. Through out the years, blog has gone through numerous transformations and today it has become one of the best ways to make money online.
Then how do you make money with your blog?
1. Select a platform
You can choose bloggers or wordpress as your platform and both of them are free. Nowadays, there are a few free platforms that you can use. However, you can also host your blog on your server if you want more control over your blog. In that way, you can insert special scripts to make your blog more unique.
2. Choose your topic
You need to choose the right topic if you want to make money with your blog.
It is best that you choose the topic that you are passionate about.
Let’s look at it this way, when you have no interest in digital photography, will you learn it and share the tips with your readers? You might but you certainly won’t enjoy it.
Why torment yourself? There are so many topics for you to make money with.
3. Earn with advertisement
One of the easiest ways bloggers make money online by Google adsense.
Again, getting advertisements from Google is free. You just register with Google, set up your account following the step by step guide and paste the code on your blog. So, when readers click on the advertisements, you will start to make money with your blog.
However, you need to make sure that the advertisements are related to your blog. Does it make sense if your blog is about learning digital photography and the advertisements are about second-hand car?
One of the ways to get targeted ads is by publishing keyword for specific blog post. It is easier for Google to send related ads if you have the right keywords in your posts.
4. Drive readers
If you want to make money with your blog, you need to drive readers to your blog.
How do you do that then?
Since you are writing your blog post, why not write articles about your blog too?
Try to write a 300-500 words of informative article and submits it to article directories daily. After some time, you will start to get readers to your blog and if they need more information, they will click the advertisements and you will make extra money online.
