Wedding Photography Questions To Ask Bride
Free wedding photography, help with form for contestants?

We’re in need of photos for our wedding photography portfolio and so we’re giving away free wedding photography to one couple. We’re creating a form for the contestants to fill out, but I’m having problems thinking of questions to ask. We’re really wanting to get a feel, a vision, of what their wedding day is going to look like because we’re going to choose whoever we can get the best photos with. What questions can we ask to find this out without sounding shallow?

Also — BRIDES: What do you think of this? Good idea or no?
I posted this question under another category and someone was under the impression that we’re just starting out. So I wanted to throw in that we ARE professional photographers. We’ve had a studio for awhile now and done several weddings. None of them have just wanted to do anything artsy or creative, so we don’t have much for a portfolio.

I wouldnt consider it shallow at all, just ask the questions you need. You probably want to show different types of weddings in your portfolio though so it might be best to pick more difficult ones as well as kinds you like.

I would ask:
What are your colors?
What time is it (morning, evening, etc?)
Please describe the location:
What is the theme of your wedding?

But before Ruby can plan the wedding that may never be, Stella announces she’s pregnant by a one-night stand whose name might be Jake (or James? Maybe Jason?) and who lives somewhere under the glittering lights of Las Vegas. Ruby and Stella hit the road to find him–with a lot more than fifteen questions.
