Planing on doing photography only 12 years old….?

I am planing on doing photography , am using my sisters cheap polariod i835 lol and she said i suck at taking pictures frist off i need a new camera and a some lessons can anybody please recmond me a good photography cameras (for begginers) and anybody if u could take photography lessons online (website,videos?)

Hey there! I commend you for wanting to get into this incredible hobby/ career. DO NOT let what your sister says discourage you from photography. Your at the perfect age to master this and to find out what kind of photography your into or want to get into.

I do agree that the Nikon D-40 is a great camera, however, it is too much camera for a beginner, especially when you are shooting in “raw” and having to “fix” all your photos after wards. Polaroids are fun camera’s for this and that, but they are not going to satisfy you at all, as you found out. I highly recommend getting a digital Fuji, that is not a small, hand held, little “point and shoot”. Fuji cameras like the Fuji FinePix S6000 or anything above it, take outstanding pictures. You can focus it yourself and zoom as you please. The polaroid has a fixed focus as well as many small point and shoots, are “fixed focus”.
