Times Photography Toronto
sweeeeett 16 queeeeeeestion?!?

Haii so my sweet sixteen is actually next year…(june first 2011 haha) but I want to start and plan.
Ok so I live in mississauga,Canada and I have some questions.
-what should be on my checklist?
-if you were to go to a sweet sixteen what would YOU want to have there…

so I want a dance party or something like that (dancing FOR SURE!)
I live in mississauga but I am willing to have a party in like toronto or something aswell.
more questions:
-best theme? (i was thinking black and white or like celebrity)
-what times the best?
ALSO:
I reaaaaallly want some kind of like photography or picture taking or something like that…
what do you think about that?
how would I get that going?
would I need to hire a photographer? is there any in mississauga or toronto that offer the whole package? (lighting, backround etc)?
:::I know that was alot of questions but PLEASE answer ASAP!::: THANKS!!::: and if theres anything else I need to know??::::

ok I found this Idea very cool: http://www.birthdaypartyideas.com/html/sweet_16_parties_4.html beacuse it’s different than the usual black and white party and the link says all the details.

And for the photographer you can search on the internet or just find one in your city, hire him for the night as if it was a wedding.

What I would want ahah I’d want to have a party with a 60′ies theme on a field with music and food and everyone dressed as hippies :D but well Im not normal i guess ;)

Underlying them all is the gripping immediacy that makes news photography not only an indispensable presence in the daily paper but a vital part of history. This book includes an illustrated chronology that traces the evolution of the technology and business of news photography, with special attention to the role of "The New York Times" and to the recent rise of digital technologies in newspaper production. Photography and Italy

Photography and Italy

$20.71

In this beautifully illustrated book Maria Antonella Pelizzari traces the history of photography in Italy from its beginnings to the present as she guides us through the history of Italy and its ancient sites and Renaissance landmarks. Pelizzari specifically considers the role of photography in the formation of Italian national identity during times of political struggle, such as the lead up to Unification in 1860, and later in the nationalist wars of Mussolini’s regime. While many Italians and foreigners– such as Fratelli Alinari or Carlo Ponti, John Ruskin or Kit Talbot–focused their lenses on architectural masterpieces, others documented the changing times and political heroes, creating icons of figures such as Garibaldi and the brigands. Pelizzari’s exploration of Italian visual traditions also includes the photographic collages of Bruno Munari, the neorealist work of photographers such as Franco Pinna, the bold stylized compositions of Mario Giacomelli, and the controversial images created by Oliviero Toscani for Benetton advertising in the 1980s. Featuring unpublished works and a rare selection of over one hundred images, this book will appeal to art collectors and students of art history and Italian culture.
