In a digital camera, to fit more photos on, why compromise on quality or size?
I have a Canon IXY with a 4 GB card. I'm to India for 3 weeks and is held in thousands of photos (which is the way I am). To fit more photos on my camera, I'm trying to decide if I should superfine quality down for good … or size of 3 megapixels 5MP …. I recommend?

It can cost much more than buying on the trip, so it's best to go with them in hand! All that said – if you must sacrifice – Low quality, not size. Here's why: When the camera captures an image that will always use all its sensors, the 5 million of them. So, if you say you go to 3 million, which will to do is pull some of the information captured. That means you will see groups of neighboring pixels and try to combine into a single pixel.
