i need help coming up with a project idea for my gifted class!!?
basically, we have about 3-4 months to work on an independent study sort of project…
these projects are not “research” type projects…rather, something we find interesting and something that others will enjoy looking at
we also have to try and merge two academic disciplines (math, science, sculpting, music, meteorology, physics, psychology, literature, zoology, etc.)
some examples (already been done) include:
building a guitar out of scratch
reverse engineering (with models) some fighter plane (not much into this stuff)
adapting parks and playgrounds for autistic children
building a “dream house”–lots of architecture and scaling for the model
the art of police interrogation
3-d graphics animation and gaming
photography
we also need to find a mentor to help us through the project.
it is our entire grade and a lot of pressure.
of course, i have no ideas!! help!!
