Sony Digital Camera With Viewfinder
Any idea why Sony digital cameras taking photos all black??
I have a Sony digital camera. One day, suddenly, the screen went black. Even the pictures taken are going completely black. The LCD screen works in playback mode so it is not an LCD problem. Even the picture with the viewfinder are going black. Does anyone know what the problem might be? It is a lens or the CCD problem? Can be fixed easily?
Recently, there was a class action lawsuit against Sony regarding defective CCD arrays from a number of cameras, both still photo and video. Your best bet is to check out the website below and contact Sony in connection with his camera. They will guide you through a series of tests that you can do while talking on the phone with them. If it is determined that the CCD is the problem, then you are eligible for a free repair by Sony. Be sure to hurry, I think that their obligation ends some time in September or October.
