What is a large underwater camera?

I am a diver and want to buy a good digital camera underwater. The price is not really a problem unless it is like over $ 1000. But what i need is HD picture quality, not big or bulky, and under water at least 100 feet, which is a necessity. Just Google "underwater camera" and the Sony Cyber-shot ® Digital Camera TX5 was the first thing came up and the extent to which the camera looks very nice, no more than 10 feet, but can be used with a case of housing the water, which is fine with me, doesn't really effect the performance From what I read. But I wonder if something is a little better or a little more durable. If you have this camera Please give your opinion to me. If you think this is the best camera there then just say so.
