Canon VS Sony. Help me choose a camera! (Fixed link)?

I will mainly be used for videos / blogs / greetings to my friends moved outta state. and perhaps the real youtube blogs. everyone I know tells me that would be a great personality, youtube … Not sure if that's a compliment .. Also I use for photography.

Both are just a little P & S cameras – the kind that I carry in my bag as an emergency backup (I call it my camera Mickey Mouse) – so do not expect miracles. If video is important to you, you really must have a video camera, making a much better. I think it is unreasonable of us can expect a small camera to do well in both photos and video.
