Professional Photography Cameras For Beginners

What’s the best professional camera for a beginner photographer?
I am majoring in photography, I’ve already taken few classes ..
I’m looking for a nice camera to start… Any suggestions?? PLEASE
Depends on how much money you want to spend really. Buy a used DSLR to get the most for your money, around 500$ buy a Canon 40D / Nikon D200, if you have more to spend buy a pro body like a Canon 1Ds MkI / Nikon D2x. As for lens I’d go with a 50mm 1.4 if I was on a budget, and a 70-200mm 2.8 if not. Then build from there.
