Pricing Photography Jobs

Is this a good camera package for a starter in DSLR photography?
http://cgi.ebay.com/Canon-EOS-Digital-Rebel-XSi-450D-SLR-Camera-4-LENS-8GB_W0QQitemZ290319158839QQcmdZViewItemQQptZDigital_Cameras?hash=item43985ece37&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1262&_trkparms=%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A30
Is the sigma lens any good? I really want a lens that can do macro photography. Would the sigma do a good job? And what do you think about the price and the package overall?
I know the bottom row comes standerd lol.
I love canon but they have very expensive lenses and im on a budget. If you can point me out to a cheap canon macro lense that would be great. Also is the Canon telephot lens good?
Canon is great, but that package is not.
Here’s what I see for you
Canon XTi –Body only (you can probably find it cheap new/used for about 350)
Sigma 70-300mm lens (150 on amazon.com)
Tamron AF 17-50mm F/2.8 (400 on amazon)
sounds expensive, but you can probably get it cheaper if you buy used as well.
