Photography Zoom Lens
have an olympus 510 digital camera,looking for a good zoom lens suitable for wildlife photography?
The Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 70-300mm f/4-5.6 is the most economical option: it’s inexpensive, lightweight, and packs a big zoom range. Optically, the 70-300mm is pretty good.
Depending on what type of wildlife photography you’re trying to explore, a 140-600mm equivalent lens may or may not be adequate for your needs. If you think you’ll need something with a little more reach, try the Sigma 50-500mm f/4-6.3 or the now-discontinued Sigma 135-400mm f/4.5-5.6. The 135-400mm can be found used for a little less than $500 and the 50-500mm can be purchased new for about $900 or used for around $600. These two lenses aren’t light and they aren’t Zuikos, but they’re pretty good lenses as reviewed by the community.
