View Fetish Photography at I Love French Girls

There are several adult sites over the web viewed by both men and women. One of this is I Love French Girls, which is run by a french photographer, Jerome Gouvrion aka jG. He is considered as one of the top suppliers of fetish glamour photos on the Internet. As a matter of fact, he has produced over 50.000 pictures of women in latex clothes, femdom or bondage situations. If you are interested in viewing glamour photography with lovely french girls in distress, you can check out the site of jG. His website is comprised of excellent quality movies and photos which feature women wearing the finest latex outfits and discovering some amazing rope bondage. Moreover, some of his works display those french models in erotic shibari, bdsm games, totally restraint or simply dominated. All of the women modeling for Jerome Gouvrion are made to appear like French Girls.

Compared to other female bondage websites, I Love French Girls is different in a way that women love the art of Jerome Gouvrion. This is due to the fact that the photographer showcases more than a basic and primitive sexuality. He makes it a point to show that bondage and female domination is thrilling and aesthetic. Unlike other adult sites, the French Girls of jG are not depicted merely as helpless women in restraint : they are not shown as abused, there is a positive atmosphere where the girls are bound but happy to be tied. Jerome Gouvrion keeps in mind the notion of respect when he shoots his photos or videos. This is something which can be viewed even by the females since it does not belittle their dignity. You can check out this website if you want to know more about his fetish universe.

This bondage and fetish website is not similar to porn sites. This is due to the belief of jG that porn is merely basic. While there are some men who are bent on portraying the basic sexuality of the women, as with porn websites, Jerome Gouvrion is different. His ideas on mistress and slave glamour photography are diverse and not pornographic. He is more at ease with models who are not interested with doing porn photo shoots. The women he is working with are interested in his vision for “softcore” fetish photography and videos. Although this might mean not expanding the audience of his site, jG does not mind not changing his perception over his website.

When it comes to what other individuals think of his website, Jerome Gouvrion does not mind that they are against such form of art. For him, what he is doing is just a way of sharing his passion to the people who have similar interests as him. There are a lot of people who knit their brows the moment they hear or meet terms such as “sado-masochism” or “bondage”. For them, this is related to pornography. However, these French Girls by jG prove there is another way: the fetish world never looked so aesthetic, exciting and, last but not least, fun.

Photography in Africa (Hardcover)

Photography in Africa (Hardcover)

$126.48

This collection of studies in African photography examines, through a series of empirically rich historical and ethnographic cases, the variety of ways in which photographs are produced, circulated, and engaged across a range of social contexts. In so doing, it elucidates the distinctive characteristics of African photographic practices and cultures, vis- -vis those of other forms of `vernacular photography` worldwide. In addition, these studies develop a reflexive turn, examining the history of academic engagement with these African photographic cultures, and reflecting on the distinctive qualities of the ethnographic method as a means for studying such phenomena. The volume critically engages current debates in African photography and visual anthropology. First, it extends our understanding of the variety of ways in which both colonial and post-colonial states in Africa have used photography as a means for establishing, and projecting, their authority. Second, it moves discussion of African photography away from an exclusive focus on the role of the `the studio` and looks at the circulations through which the studios` products – the photographs themselves – later pass as artefacts of material culture. Last, it makes an important contribution to our understanding of the relationship between photography and ethnographic research methods, as these have been employed in Africa. Richard Vokes is Senior Lecturer in Anthropology at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and author of Ghosts of Kanungu

The Cultural Work of Photography in Canada (Hardcover)

The Cultural Work of Photography in Canada (Hardcover)

$98.85

The Cultural Work of Photography in Canada is an in-depth study on the use of photographic imagery in Canada from the late nineteenth century to the present. This volume of fourteen essays provides a thought-provoking discussion of the role photography has played in representing Canadian identities. In essays that draw on a diversity of photographic forms, from the snapshot and advertising image to works of photographic art, contributors present a variety of critical approaches to photography studies, examining themes ranging from photography`s part in the formation of the geographic imaginary to Aboriginal self-identity and notions of citizenship. The volume explores the work of photographs as tools of self and collective expression while rejecting any claim to a definitive, singular telling of photography`s history. Reflecting the rich interdisciplinarity of contemporary photography studies, The Cultural Work of Photography in Canada is essential reading for anyone interested in Canadian visual culture. Contributors include Sarah Bassnett (University of Western Ontario), Lynne Bell (University of Saskatchewan), Jill Delaney (Library and Archives Canada), Robert Evans (Carleton University), Sherry Farrell Racette (University of Manitoba), Blake Fitzpatrick (Ryerson University), Vincent Lavoie (Université du Québec à Montréal), John O’Brian (University of British Columbia), James Opp (Carleton University), Joan M. Schwartz (Queen’s University), Sarah Stacy (Library and Archives Canada), Jeffrey Thomas (Ottawa), and Carol Williams (Trent University/University of Lethbridge).

 A Clockwork Orange

A Clockwork Orange

$17.95

Stanley Kubrick’s futuristic juvenile delinquency movie “A Clockwork Orange” (1971) is an adaptation of Anthony Burgess’ 1962 novel of the same title. Film and novel tell the story of an extremely violent teenager who allows himself to be subjected to aversion therapy (making him unable to indulge his violent and sexual impulses) so as to get out of prison; he then becomes the target of violent attacks and political manipulation which in turn culminate in the removal of his psychological conditioning. Drawing on new research in the Stanley Kubrick Archive at the University of the Arts London, Kramer’s study explores the production, marketing and reception as well as the themes and style of “A Clockwork Orange” against the backdrop of Kubrick’s previous work and of wider developments in cinema, culture and society from the 1950s to the early 1970s.
