for the love of photography,was this the wrong choice?

I have always loved photography & whenever been the the one mall, they had pictures taken ok things around the city, mounted & were selling it. Was I wrong to go & buy a camera (Kodak 1012IZ) and start taking pictures or things around?? I am not a pro photographer but it does have the zoom buttons on(usual like any other camera)?? or was it a bad decision?

If you are interested in photography then getting a camera even if it were just a disposable kodak is progress. I suggest taking a photography class when ever you can. You’ll learn the basics, such as concepts, camera functions, where to take pictures, how to take them, etc. Bottom line, no it wasn’t wrong of you to buy a kodak to start taking photos. It’s a start.
