Im different, their not. how do i blend in?
My parents are having a hard time bonding with me, because im totally different from them. Like personality, lifestyle, likes/dislikes etc.
Im youngest in the family, i have a sister(22) & a brother(19), they both share the same interests, almost same personality & they get along well with their parents, cause they all like the same things, except me.
Sometimes they don’t accept what i choose to do, they don’t like the type of food i eat? they are very social, im not, they’re disappointed with me because i choose to study photography instead of business marketer, lawyer, doctor blabla.
Seeing their disappointing faces all day, makes me feel so guilty.
Should i stay myself or be like them? Though im more comfortable & happy with me, their not. help?
Find a common ground and meet there.
Take pictures of the family. I must agree with the folks on this one . An attornery can afford a much better camera and travel to Japan to use it, where a Best Buy employee only watches Japanese videos.
