Photography History

What is a good attention grabber for my research paper on the history of photography?
I have a research paper on the history of photography. But i am lost for an attention grabber please help me!!
i was trying to focus on the impact of photography and how the camera has evolved making pictures look better
Start by describing an iconic photo, and the story behind it. You might describe the impact that a particular photograph has had, and use that to launch your discussion. Some possible candidates for iconic photographs might be some of Dorthea Lange’s WPA photos, or Joe Rosenthal’s “Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima,” or maybe Chris Fields’ photo of a firefighter carrying a dying infant from the ruins of the Oklahoma City Bombing. Many of these can be described in text, instantly recalling the image to mind even without the need to include the photo. (But I would do so anyway, including it as an appendix to the back of your paper.) Using this approach shows the power of photography, to evoke emotions and even as an agent for social change.
The links below have the photos that I’ve mentioned. Good luck.

On Photography $81.25 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles On Photography is a 1977 collection of essays by Susan Sontag. It originally appeared as a series of essays in the New York Review of Books between 1973 and 1977. In the book, Sontag expresses her views on the history and presentday role of photography in capitalist societies as of the 1970s. Sontag discusses many examples of modern photography. Among these, she contrasts Diane Arbuss work with that of Depressionera documentary photography commissioned by the Farm Security Administration. She also explores the history of American photography in relation to the idealistic notions of America put forth by Walt Whitman and traces these ideas through to the increasingly cynical aesthetic notions of the 1970s, particularly in relation to Arbus and Andy Warhol.
