Photography Exhibits Nyc

Looking for ANY information regarding security cameras, CCTV, traffic cameras, etc…?
I once heard that the average person in London is photographed 800 times a day thanks to CCTV (closed circuit television).
I would like to find the official statistic of this claim, but ANY information/statistics/articles in regards to public video cameras would be helpful.
I have examples of things I’m looking for, from a map of Manhattan pointing out all cameras: http://www.mediaeater.com/cameras/maps/nyc.pdf , to statistics of a London borough regarding CCTV crime rates: http://www.hackney.gov.uk/cctv-stats-2008.pdf
I am organizing an international photography exhibit with the central theme of supervision and its role on society, and would like to incorporate as much info as possible.
Thanks!
Here is a good site to check out – some good articles on their that might be a good fit for your project

On Photography $81.25 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles On Photography is a 1977 collection of essays by Susan Sontag. It originally appeared as a series of essays in the New York Review of Books between 1973 and 1977. In the book, Sontag expresses her views on the history and presentday role of photography in capitalist societies as of the 1970s. Sontag discusses many examples of modern photography. Among these, she contrasts Diane Arbuss work with that of Depressionera documentary photography commissioned by the Farm Security Administration. She also explores the history of American photography in relation to the idealistic notions of America put forth by Walt Whitman and traces these ideas through to the increasingly cynical aesthetic notions of the 1970s, particularly in relation to Arbus and Andy Warhol.
