Photography Colleges In New York

Art Institute of New York City?
Ok im a junior in high school and we’re starting to look at colleges and stuff. Well i really want to go to school for graphic design and also photography. Is the art institute a school that id go to right after high school? or would i go to a college or university before that and than go to the Art Institute. I was just wondering what i would be doing.. please someone clarify for me. thanks.
Yea the Art Institute of New York is a college. They are called schools/institute instead of colleges or universities because it’s a much smaller college in terms of facilities and students.. If you want a degree in some specific art, then these schools are for you

Among these, she contrasts Diane Arbuss work with that of Depressionera documentary photography commissioned by the Farm Security Administration. She also explores the history of American photography in relation to the idealistic notions of America put forth by Walt Whitman and traces these ideas through to the increasingly cynical aesthetic notions of the 1970s, particularly in relation to Arbus and Andy Warhol.
