Creating a Chicagoland Bar Mitzvah Photography Contract
When entering into a Chicagoland Bar Mitzvah photography agreement, you need to be sure that you’re getting the services that you need at the price that you are willing to pay. To ensure that both parties get what they want from the exchange, a contract is necessary. This binding piece of paper will make sure that your Chicagoland Bar Mitzvah photography service knows what you want and is bound to complete their obligations to your satisfaction.
The key to your Chicagoland Bar Mitzvah photography contract is that you select a photographer you trust right from the start. This would be someone that’s never had a complaint filed against them and who is trusted by other parents that you know. To find someone you trust you need to interview them extensively and be sure that any certifications they list are legitimate. While this process takes time, it also takes away the headaches that you will have if you choose the first photographer that you meet.
When it comes down to the contract that you will both be signing, you have two options: use their contract form or create your own. If you want to use their standard Chicagoland Bar Mitzvah photography contract, you will want to read it over carefully before you end up signing it. Some of the lines in the contract may not be applicable to your situation so they should be crossed out and other things that you need to agree upon may not be included due to your special needs. Read and reread this contract before you sign it. There should also be spaces for you to make changes and add in personal information that is relevant to the bar mitzvah activities.
You can also choose to create your own contract form for the Chicagoland Bar Mitzvah photography agreement. This is a more difficult route to choose as you will need to make sure that everything you want is included. But then again, it can also be specialized to your situation. This contract should include the dates of service, services required, what is expected in terms of the overall bill, a note about the cancellation of services, terms of the printing and developing of the photos, etc. This is something that you should make sure to spend time on and even talk to someone that’s qualified in handling similar contract scenarios.
To keep things legal and legitimate, you can have someone notarize it or witness the signing of this contract. While most Chicagoland Bar Mitzvah photography businesses do not insist upon this, it can help to keep things more formal and binding. When you have multiple people looking at who has agree to the terms of your contract, it’s much easier to go back and fight something that was not done properly.
And in the end, you should have multiple copies made of the contract – one for you and one for the business as well as a separate copy in another location – maybe with your rabbi? This will keep the terms spelled out for the Chicagoland Bar Mitzvah photography business and be available should anything need to be checked.
