Photography Basics Aperture Shutter Speed
where to learn the basics of photography?

I’ve always just hand a point and shoot digi cam. Today i bought a sony H3, and while i can still use it easily as a point and shoot i;d like to explore the other stuff the camera has to offer. Where can i learn the basics of it’s settings?
I really know very little….stuff about aperture, exposure value, shutter speed…to name just a few-what do these things do?! I’m playing around with these things, but have no idea what the readings on the display actually mean.
A simple guide would be great.
