You might go online. Try visiting some of the chat rooms or forums. Read through them and see what people are talking about. See what questions they are asking. Are there a lot of questions from people seeking information on a certain product? Are they trying to solve a certain problem? Your niche could be in the product or problem that they are asking about.

You should concentrate your efforts on a certain group of people who are looking for a specific product. For example, if you find in these forums that people are talking about photography, you could make photography your niche and promote photography in general. Or you could promote a more specific item in the field of photography. You might promote online lessons in photographing nature scenes, or an e-book on how to reduce the sun’s glare in pictures. These are unique angles and are more of a concentrated niche. With a more concentrated niche, it will be more likely that you will get a sale. In doing this, you will promote yourself as an expert in the field that you are targeting.

When you narrow your niche to a more specific item, you are targeting people who are actually seeking to buy a product, instead of those who are just curious. You efforts are more likely to bring results. This brings more sales of the products and services that you are promoting, which is the reason we all got into internet marketing, to be a part of the exciting world of the internet.
