Camcorder that’s good to take up to the mountain?
I’ve been wanting to take a camcorder up to the mountain to take some snowboarding videos and i currently have a Olympus Stylus 1010 digital camera. But, my camera doesn’t have optical zoom when i’m recording a video and only does digital zoom which makes the video quality terrible. Also my camera isn’t very compatible with youtube so the quality is really bad.
So I’ve been looking around for a good quality camcorder that can withstand cold temperatures, is durable, takes good quality video, is waterproof or water resistant and has no moving parts.
Then I came across the Panasonic SDR-SW20 Digital Camcorder which seemed pretty good. But i read some reviews and people said it wasn’t that great.
Any suggestions on camcorders?

This is not water resistant or water proof. But a great camera for a great price. Amazon.co for $294.72 (reseller) BestBuy.com has them for $299.99 in other colors.
