Nikon Digital Camera S4000
If I want a camera that will last a long time, should not have a touchscreen?
I'm thinking about buying a digital camera and wants get a sturdy that will last at least a couple of years. I love how elegant touch screen cameras to look at, but I feel like a camera with a standard control system would probably last longer, since they are not pressing your fingers on the screen all day. What do you think you? Also, have any of you bought this camera? It's the one I'm thinking of getting.

I agree their thinking on a touch screen. This technology is brought from the new tablet computers. Of course, the cameras of today are actually a small computer a lens attached. Sometimes it's just tricks too much and gets in the way of shooting. For the best value I suggest look at the line Fuji Finepix cameras and Olympus. And if you can spend more, Canon. Check out amazon.com, they have the same price as the big guns in New York with mickey mouse shipping prices.
