Nikon Digital Camera Packages
Good quality lenses Nikon D50?
Finally jumped on the bandwagon and digital SLR I've wanted for some time. The package comes with a 28-90 mm F/3.3-5.6 lens. Not need much of the lens, just looking for what would be required to complete the camera. I guess that comes with it will do for the subject in general. I just want to cover the range, especially to help catch my wedding and honeymoon in Jamacia, the major reason I bought this camera. What is a goal of good quality or two that complement that I have?
You could add a lens for long range shots, something like Nikon 70-210mm or 70-300mm, UV filters to protect lenses from the sand and spray, and perhaps Sun dorky shades to reduce glare and preserve the contrast in bright sunlight. Oh, and plenty of storage for the trip – does it have enough memory cards? After that, you're looking at expansion and improvement that would not be worth the investment. Things like a tripod, a broader goal (with 28 mm wider than its current, you might find yourself back up a lot), a low light lens as the 50mm F1.8, a flash, and so on.
