How To Make Photography Books
making a book for photography work??
So I took this digital imaging class and my professor showed us some books that he had done up of his own work. One of them was this tiny book-the size of a business card…it wasn’t of his work, but an example of someones work. He told us how that person used that small book as his business card.
On the first page was contact information and the rest was about 5 or 6 pages and all of his photography work that he does. It seemed like a good idea.
My professor said he had it done with Apple, but I can’t seem to find it (or a link)- has anyone heard of this, or know if there are any other companies that do this sort of thing- or makes books this small??Any information will help…
Over the years I have had associations with lots of album vendors, but I have never seen any book that small. I think about the smallest I have seen is a 3 x 3.
As for doing it on an Apple, I use an Apple and it sure is not in iPhoto. The only books there are the standard 8.5 x 11 hardcover syle.
It would actually not be difficult at all to make the pages that size in photoshop and put whatever you want on them, but how you would go about binding them into a secure “book” I do not know.
No matter what you do, I think that would be a very expensive “businss card” and probably would not pay for itself in business gained.
