Is Popular Photography a good magazine? I’m interested in getting a few ideas/tips on photo taking…?
Any details would be greatly appreciated. Also, please give suggestions for any other magazines you might know of— but please list only the more affordable monthly subscriptions. Thank you.
It’s ok. I dropped it because I felt had too much ad content & too little editorial content. They do some equipment reviews, but they’re never negative because everything they review advertises with them.
There are always discount coupons so get one off the rack & use a card from it to subscribe. Don’t pay full cover price.
I suggest you go to a book or drug store & get a few different mags to see which meets your interests.
