Digital Photography Guide For Beginners
First digital SLR camera advice?
Hi all,
I’m a freelance web designer and am looking to purchase a DSLR to be able to add more professional photos for my clients.
I’m not looking for anything crazy – so I will outline what I am considering here – but let me know if there are other options out there.
I’m a beginner with SLR’s, but know Photoshop very well (CS4), so I think with some practice and reading it will be a good addition to my services.
My current considerations are:
Olympus E-420 10MP with 14-42mm Zoom Lens includes 2GB XD Card, which is on sale at Wal-Mart for $400.
Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xs Black 10.1 MP Digital SLR With 18-55-IS lens, which is about $480.
Nikon D3000 Black Digital SLR Camera w/ 18-55mm Lens Bundle, includes Large Camera Case, 2GB SD Memory Card and Nikon’s ‘Guide to Digital SLR Photography’ for $550
