Digital Cameras For Sale At Target
I want to get a new dig. camera, which should I get?
I have been looking for a new digital camera. I have a nice Canon Dig. SLR right now. I want to get something small to keep in my purse and take around with me. They had a sale at a store here and I tried the Nikon Coolpix L11 and it was cheap, but not fast enough for me. I was thinking about spending about $150 but maybe I need to get closer to $250. Can anyone tell me about a camera you have that you like. Something that takes good pictures of moving targets! It needs to be rather quick. Thanks!
Don’t expect to replace your Canon DSLR with any point and shoot camera you will get. You have been spoiled by the quality and flexibility of the camera you have. That being said…
I am a working professional photographer and use 5DCanon cameras in my work. Last year I bought a Kodak Easy Share DX4530 from an eBay auction (paid around $70.00 for it if I remember right) and keep it in the glove compartment of my vehicle. I have taken many nice pictures with it when I was just out and about without my working equipment. I would recommend it, or something like it for your casual picture taking needs. When you do buy something, look for a camera with an optical sight as well as the LCD screen because you can’t see an LCD screen in bright light, and since you probably won’t use your point and shoot real often, get something that uses standard battery’s that you can get almost anywhere at any time, so that you won’t miss a picture you really want because you haven’t recharged the camera battery recently.
With a bit of luck, you can probably find something as inexpensive and satisfactory as I did and have enough left over to treat yourself to a new lens or some other nice accessory you have been wanting for your DSLR.
