Digital Camera Tripods
What’s a reasonably priced tripod for a digital camera, preferably one that’s small when collapsed?
I’m a complete novice / amateur, just bought a Canon PowerShot AS570 IS. I would like to find a tripod that’s small enough to fit into a backpack and is not too heavy. Looking for something that is decent quality, but not necessarily intended for professional use.

this one might be a bit large for a backpack, but it’s cheap, has 2 level thingys, a hook to weigh it down, a carrying case, a quick release mount. It’s not the most durable tripod but it will get the job done. Great for beginners or amateurs.
