what is the process of the menu buttons on a digital camera? (the process being part of a system diagram)?

Ummm… you press the buttons and things change?

Each camera maker uses a different approach… some things are on a dedicated control on one model, and buried in the menu system on another.

Basically, you press the menu button, then select a specific area in the menu to change, then the individual item. The exact process varies among models.
