Digital Camera Memory Cards Explained
How Do I Know Which SD Card for my Digital Camera to Buy ?
My husband purchased a Hi-Definition Video Camera no frills ( Jazz Elite) $179.00.
It was explained to in the manual that you need to buy and SD card and to take movies and to upload them to Youtube. My question is how do I know (1) What amount of memory of an SD Card to get 2GB or 4GB and (2) Does the card Have to be a regular speed or High speed memory card or does it even matter.
Unfortunately the manual was not specific as to which type of SD Card to retain. (3) I have 4 SD Card reader slots on my HP Pavillion Media Media Center PC. Once I buy the SD card and load video on it can put that Card to the appropriate readerslot and view my pictures or videos from there?

The speed of the memory card probably won’t make much difference. The size of the card will determine the amount of video and pictures you can store. Your manual may tell you how much content will fit on a card that is 2GB or 4GB. You will be able to place the SD card in your computer and copy the files to your hard drive. You may need to install the software that came with the camera to convert the files if they are not a standard file format.
