Create Photography Portfolio Online

Creating an online photography portfolio?
I have tons of digital photographs that I would like to organize in to a professional-looking online portfolio. What are the best websites to do this on?
I particularly love the way this is set up: http://www.jeshderox.com/
But I also love the simplistic portfolios with plain black backgrounds and striking photographs: http://www.tomhoops.com/
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
That tomhoops gallery is great, its simple but striking. The first one is way too convoluted, I really hated how long it took to just see a picture, and to see just one at a time. Those sites that are so java heavy and annoying to navigate should be destroyed, its more like a way to showcase the web designers abilities than the photographer’s work.
Tomhoops I liked how it just scrolled from right to left and saw 2 at a time with no load.
Keep it simple yet elegant like tomhoops. Its classier and more striking than just flickr and other photo gallery sites. I may even do a portfolio like the the tomhoops one, thanks for the idea))
For awhile I was considering using this tool to create my portfolio.
http://qgallery.quadrifolia.de/
But that guy has had it in beta and saying it’d be done in a couple weeks since January when I first saw it. So thats probably a lost cause. You can roll your mouse from left to right on the gallery thumbnails to see a preview of each picture within it. But really thats just something cool to me, but not really the most effective way to showcase one’s work. Galleries in the style of tomhoops are the best in my opinion.
