How to download videos from a digital camera IXUS70 canon?

We just received this new Canon camera and it's great … IXUS70 but when I try to upload the videos to my computer the upload window disappears leaving me with a blank screen. If anyone can shed some light on my situation would be much appreciated =] I'm using Windows XP and am trying to upload video is 4:16 min

As I've written many times here the simplest solution is a card reader. It will turn your memory card to a flash drive and can read it and write it. Now it will depend on what kind of software you have to play / edit the video – which is part you. Good luck
