Best Photography Schools In Chicago
Is transferring for the 3rd time a bad thing?
I am currently a student at the Corcoran College of Art + Design and in my sophmore year. Prior to attending Corcoran, i attended a normal University (Hampton University), however it was only for a Pre-College program. I was supposed planning to attend Hampton for my undergrad, but transferred to Corcoran because i decided to pursue a career in photography.
As an aspiring fashion/people/portrait photographer i am hoping to transfer to another school in a larger city not dealing with politics like Washington, DC (where the Corcoran is) but a city like Chicago, New York, etc.,etc.
My question is, is transferring for the 3rd time a bad thing? I’m asking this because i was talking with a friend recently and i feel as if i’m ready to go to school away and she said that “transferring for a 3rd time shows unstability” and that she recommends me not to do it.
What are your thoughts? Please help! I will check for best answer!
The old saying, 3 strikes you’re out, holds true. This will look terrible to future employers. Plus you have to lose some credits along the way. You will be turning into a lifetime student, by the time you finally graduate. Stay the course, and do your best. No guarantee that another school will be better for you anyway. Good Luck!
